Estonian police knocked the door of the hotel room of Chiesa around 18.00 , and stated that they have a resolution on the expulsion of a journalist. After that, the journalist was asked to collect his stuff, and then he was taken away. Giulietto Chiesa was ordered to leave the territory of Estonia during the 24 hours. Giulietto Chiesa worked in Moscow as a correspondent of the newspaper l'unita and La Stampa for more than twenty years. He was elected as a member of the European Parliament group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe's support. In 2009 he was nominated to the European Parliament from the party – „For human rights in United Latvia", but had not passed.
00:36-01:10(ru) All of this was very unexpected. I was arrested at the hotel, and told that I was persona non grata. Supposedly there is a decree of the Ministry of internal Affairs, dated the 13th December 2014. It says that I have "introduced" into the territory of Estonia illegally. I tried to figure out what's going on?
01:10-01:30(ru) They said we were instructed to hold you, take your suitcase, let's go to prison. Picked the tie, belt, shoes looked, suitcase and shut me down.
01:30-01:54(ru) The Italian Ambassador came to prison stated very emphatically that will not leave until Mr. Kieza released. Then there were many calls to the Italian foreign Ministry the Ambassador of Estonia was summoned . The protest was pronounced to him.
