Remains of 202 Soviet soldiers are reburied in Estonia
Place: Sinimäe, Estonia
August 5, 2017 in the town of Sinimäe in Estonia, a humanitarian action was carried out - the reburial of 202 remains of Soviet soldiers found by the search engines of the Kamerad club during field work. The ceremony was attended by relatives from one of the fallen heroes who came from Belarus - Major Stepan Maslov. 55 remains of the total number of now reburied fighters, belong to the Marines of the Merekul command. They were buried near the monument to the 45 paratroopers buried here, in a mass grave where the ashes of over 12,000 Soviet soldiers who fell during the liberation of Estonia from the Nazi invaders are buried.
01:22-01:48 (Ru) Unfortunately now they are listed as unknown soldiers. There was no direct identification material, but it was indirect. Now we are working together with Russian and Estonian search engines to establish these names.
