At the monument of Freedom they mourn for the fallen from the hands of Nazi executioners

In the Day of memory of the Latvian SS Legion, Latvian anti-fascists came to the monument of Freedom in Riga, to light candles in the memory of many thousands people of different nationalities murdered by the Nazis. The organizers believe that we must honor the memory of these people and not those who wittingly or unwittingly stood under Nazi banners. Anti-fascists say: it doesn't matter, what does current policy say -  the Legion "Waffen SS" was a Nazi, and there is SS guilt in the murder of millions of people of different nationalities.
