Protesting against the closure of the Russian and Polish schools in Vilnius
Place: Vilnius, Lithuania
A rally against the closure of minority schools was held in the capital of Lithuania . Traditionally, the event was attended by teachers, students and parents of Russian and Polish pupils. The protest was arroused by the reform of secondary education in the country. It is expected to leave only a few schools where you can learn all 12 classes. Most educational institutions will teach children only 9 years. Teachers do not agree with this idea. In their opinion, currently all schools in the country are able to provide a full secondary education. In addition, reform is held opaque.
